OK I am a little bit older than what the target demographic MIGHT be for this song. BUT this is the first time I heard it and I LOVE IT! For different reasons, if you have teenagers in High School you know that the kids tend to stay in cliques, Black or White kids, Goth or Preppy kids, Jocks and nerds. Come on most of you went to High School so you know what I mean. The music tend to follow the clique, right? Right. But to see a collaboration of different young MEN especially and to witness the talent they posses being used to lift up God’s name is a wonderful thing. There are people who might look like they do and all of them fight each other on site, but for it to be such a myriad of people and them find a common ground that is not sex, or weed, or hate or alcohol and to be rhyming, drumming, strummin praises to God…
I know some of you would judge them, but don’t. I think this is what we need our youth to see because some of them are far gone and it will take God in his awesome wonder to move and create and orchestrate the environment that is going to WELCOME them home so that they will stay. There are other songs out there that express the feeling of being a misfit and the lyrics could be telling your child to kill themselves. Get the Word in them by hook or crook! Forward this to your teens!
