    We are in a season of “shaking”. The Word of God states that EVERYTHING that can be shaken will be shaken and ONLY that whose foundation is built on the solid rock of JESUS CHRIST will remain standing. The Word also states that he who exalts himself will be humbled and he who humbles himself will be exalted. Many “churches” are man-made alters, self-appointed, NOT God-appointed and therefore, will not remain. God is “cleaning house” and purifying HIS church! EVERY man-made alter is being torn down as Jesus prepare HIS true bride for His return! EVERY wickedness is being exposed– pride,corruption, greed, hypocrisy, perversion and idolatry and judgment begins in the “house of God”. Whatsoever a man sews, that shall he reap. God WILL NOT be mocked. The Bibles says in 2 Cor. 11: 13-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading THEMSELVES as apostles of Christ. (14) Do not marvel, for Satan himself, masquerades as an “angel of light”. (15) It is not surprising that his ministers also masquerade as ministers of righteous; whose END shall be according to their works. The Word speaks of them as wolves in sheeps clothing. EVERY man behind a pulpit IS NOT of God becasue the scriptures clearly states that SATAN HAS MINISTERS, TOO! Pauls says when speaking to the Galatians, “Who has bewitched you”? Much of the modern church is being “bewitched” because they WILL NOT take the time to read the WORD of GOD for themselves and the enemy takes full advantage their being gullible.

      Thank you for coming by. We haven’t heard from you in a while. Pray that all is well. As usual great comment and Most importantly it included the scripture to back it up. I think you summed up what everyone was saying well. If we study and are anchored in God’s word we would be able to see the wolves for who they are.

      this is the truth of God’s word, and so key about the people being deceived because they won’t read His word for themselves. this will be our prayer, that the people who are called by His name, will stop being larthargic and lazy and begin to read God’s word with revelation and understanding….amen

    I agree with Sherry wholeheartedly. I agree that mothers should due their due diligence in ensuring their child is not left with a predator but at the same time, you just never know. There are several children who have been molested by family members. Mothers can’t predict everything that is going to happen. As Christians we are taught to fight against evil no matter what. Bishop Long has to answer than a higher court than civil court. This story is not over!

    Interesting. I think Sis Sherry should be careful because the goal of the predator is to find the weak and vulnerable, the easy kill or prey. Perhaps part of the issue is using the strength and POWER of discernment that God has given each of us instead of just looking for anyone to be a role model/spiritual leader for our children. At the same time that the victims could blame Long they might one day turn to their mothers and ask them why they placed them into his hands. As single mothers we cant be so desperate to give our children what we feel they are missing that we inadvertently place them in danger.
    Also if his faith and innocence was enough, perhaps that is why he didn’t feel the need to fight….
