Is there NOTHING to which black men will be held accountable? A black pastor could stand in Times Square with an uzi and take down 150 people, and his parishoners would say, “I forgive him. He’s a good pastor. He’s a man like everybody else.” THEN WHY HAVE HIM AS YOUR PASTOR? The REASON someone is a PASTOR is because he is NOT like everybody else. He is to be held to a higher standard because HE placed himself higher to God. Black people are such sheep. Frighteningly non- analytical and unintelligent.

Hey Ann! Thank you and the Truth for your comments.
I have a question Ann, from what you heard from his snippet to his church. Do you think he had aready come out to the church for his indiscretion previously or do you think it is something someone threw up in his face?@ Truth same question as Ann and in addition who is to hold him accountable, his congregation or God? In addition what type of punishment would be suitable for him if it were his congregation? Should he step down? Have mandatory counseling? BC I agree with you in part, in that there is sometimes a blind loyalty to Pastors who are misleading the flock. the interesting part is I was thinking something similar earlier today in thinking about the uneven numbers of women to men in churches and what affect that has on a Pastors accountability, deceptiveness etc. I think if there were more stand up men in the church who formed a proper “Counsel” then there would be more accountability. Men deal with men different than women do.
Thanks for coming by and commenting hope to hear from you soon

You ask: “Do you think he had aready come out to the church for his indiscretion previously or do you think it is something someone threw up in his face?” NO! The latest rumor is that he’s planning to step down for 90 days….so this action lead me to believe that his congreation wasn’t aware of this( at least thats what I won’t to believe)

I did some looking around and also read he is planning to step down. Thanks for the update, I thought that was all there was but apparently not. It’s really disheartening. We have so many people who won’t come to church because of hypocrisy and that is not every church. However this is what we see when it comes to churches right now, scandal. However If no one else says it but me, this is NOT every church. There are churches out there who are truly about God’s work. Leaders who want to lead us in the right direction.
I hope though that his misdoings do not make it so that people dont take to heart what he said about facebook. He is not the only one who has identified social networking with problems in relationships. I know I stepped away from my personal FB account because it was absorbing SOOOO much of my time, not to mention I had a hard time understanding the safety issues that are associated with the site. At the end of the day it works well for Online Fellowship but not so much for my personal use.
Be Blessed and I’ll be over soon to say hi to you as well!
