A Little History:
Women’s Empowerment is Radio One Raleigh’s largest and most anticipated event. Each year, thousands of African American women (and men) come to Women’s Empowerment for an entire day of empowerment. I must say I have never gone, but everyone that I know has attended has always spoken very highly of this event. Created in 1994, in honor of Women’s History Month, Women’s Empowerment was designed to better African American women by addressing issues that impact our “health, hearts and pocketbooks.” If you are in the area you can come and be educated and entertained as well as support the vendors that will be there.

There are either single or group tickets available to this event. So get your Women’s Day Committee or Sorority together and come out and support this event. Check Ticketmaster.com for tickets.
