Bishop Kenneth Moales Sr., founding pastor of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit (Bridgeport, CT), has reportedly passed at the age of 65, after suffering a heart attack last night.
[ad]
His unexpected passing will be felt by Lady Peggy Moales, his wife of 43 years, 3 children and 12 grandchildren. Also many more. Moales served as the presiding prelate in The Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and served in ten U.S. states along the east coast, and down into Florida and Georgia. In addition he was the President of the National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Choruses.
For those unfamiliar with Bishop Moales, most of you might remember him from his soul stirring Eulogy at Bishop Walter Hawkins Funeral. If you don’t remember his sermon, you would have most certainly remembered his voice.
Please let us lift his family and church up in prayer. Please place words in the comments section.
Psalm 46 For the director of music. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A song.[a]
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Selah
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
We will update you with arrangements at a later date.
