PASTOR, DONALD CROSBY.
STAY PRAYFUL, BECAUSE SATAN DESIRE TO STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY.
AND LET’S PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER. NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE THINK OR SAY
SOME TIMES WE HAVE TO DO THINGS DEASON AND IN ORDER. PEOPLE DON’T KNOW
ANY BETTER BECAUSE THEY WE ARE BLIND SOMETIMES. BUT EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT. -
PASTOR , DONALD CROSBY stay prayful because the devil desire to kill, steal, and destroy
thank , GOD he looks beyond our faults, failures, and flaws. -
If you think you are above the law, maybe you need to be in jail!
After hearing this I realize he is Schizophrenia. Fear is False Ego appearing Real!
He reminds me of Jim Jones! Just saying…-
Interesting comment “Anonymous”. Question for anyone to answer. Why was/is it so upsetting for a Christian man to not want his Christian child to be called a Devil and to protest against it so awful. But a “pastor” in Fla who wants to burn the Koran is ok? Is there a difference or should he have been arrested for disorderly conduct as well. As his behavior could have incited riots etc. Just the mention of what he wanted to do caused unrest. Was he Jim Jones like as well?

Mr Crosby certainly has the right to LAWFULLY try to effect change, however, he sets a very bad example by breaking the law to do so. The law he breaks is not what is ungodly, and therefore he should follow it. Nothing says it better than the following, from http://www.gotquestions.org/laws-land.html:
Romans 13:1-7 states, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and he will commend you. For he is God’s servant to do you good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword for nothing. He is God’s servant, an agent of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also because of conscience. This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”This passage makes it abundantly clear that we are to obey the government God places over us. God created government to establish order, punish evil, and promote justice (Genesis 9:6; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Romans 12:8). We are to obey the government in everything—paying taxes, obeying rules and laws, and showing respect. If we do not, we are ultimately showing disrespect towards God, for He is the One who placed that government over us. When the apostle Paul wrote to the Romans, he was under the government of Rome during the reign of Nero, perhaps the most evil of all the Roman emperors. Paul still recognized the Roman government’s rule over him. How can we do any less?

The feared and revered US Navy Fighter Squadron 171 was named the “Screamin Demons” during the 1940’s. All Squadrons had names aside from their numerical designation and these names were chosen to put fear in the hearts of the enemy and boost squadron moral. This High School is honoring the fighting men of that Squadron. Let’s all pick up a history book now and then and get a life.

maybe you should check out the good pastor Donald Cosby

Just wanted to put this out there…
Duke University has had the blue Devils for ages…so will Pastor Crosby also take up that fight as well?
He will not only be fighting a school, but the NCAA, alumni, fans, etc.
Discernment…

You have no clue!!!!!!!!!!! Nobody is forcing his kid to go to WRHS. Put him private school or better yet move his butt from OUR town. And how dare you say that the supporters of the demon mascot are christian. I can seperate my christianity from school spirit. I do not worship the demon and never have. I have no question in my mind that when i die that i will go to heaven. It’s absurd that some of you brain washed people truly believe that. Tradition is tradition. Double check the meaning of a demon. There is more than one. You choose to look at what you want to look at. And as far as the quack Donald Crosby. Yeah he breaks the law has been arrested. He my friend is not above the law. He has to obey the law just like everyone else. And you say we cant judge his past…. Bull crap,. I sure as heck would want to follow his cult.. Thats what it looks like to me and alot of other people. Nobody told him to move his butt to OUR town. How about you, him and his followers move some where that might actually care what you think. As far as the demon mascot being changed…. GET OVER IT, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!!!!!

truechristian you are very misguided and need dire help

I understand how everyone feel, but what is right is right, and what is wrong is wrong. If you are a christian then you should know that to please God you must not have any connection to the devil and in this case the connection is the name demon, no matter if its a mascot or something that you believe, it all viewed as the same thing. I thank God for Pastor Crosby because he is doing something that believers are scared to do, he is so into Christ that he don’t care what you think, but what God thinks. He is doing something that I am scared to do. Im pretty sure the media will try to dig into his past, but his past doesn’t mean anything because what he is doing now exceeds all the bad he could ever do. The man is doing something that other churches are scared to do, because they might lose their congregation, tithes/offering, or life. You must remember that our place in this world is temporary and is ticking, I will like to spend my everlasting life on holy ground, and to make it there we must stand for whats right and not part with what is wrong in order to please God, the Bible says its not your works or good deeds that gets noticed but your level of Faith, when your faith is tested and no one is on your side and you continue to live for Jesus Christ, then your name will be written in the Lambs Book of Life. This mascot is a trick by the devil, especially when it was called the Dixie Demon, That name is offensive, the south/dixie wanted slavery, which was a cruel and unjust thing to do to people, Why would you want a school to be named that? An then the name Demon is just as horrific as anything else, for its demons that inspire people to hate each other and commit crimes, so I ask again, why do you want a school to be named after that? It doesn’t matter what the fighter squadron did, there are plenty other war squadrons that have decent names like the Buffalo soldier, why not use a pleasant one? What message are we truly sending Kids? Lastly to the Blue Devil comment, picking a college is optional and if his kid chooses that school then that is on the kid, but since he is a minor, WR is forcing him to go to WR and WR doesn’t think that being a Christian is a good enough excuse to be zoned to another school that isn’t demonic. You are basically taking away his rights and discriminating his religion. The true reason why this world is at war now. Wake up

Dottie I do see your point. There were traditions in place before the pastor moved there, and I do not believe he is setting a good example for kids. He was recently arrested yet again, and this time he can’t use the excuse of ‘not knowing’ about the laws and regulations.
Because he is in the position he is in, I believe he has a duty to follow the laws to be an inspiration to others, not break the rules in order to gain attention and notoriety. He could protest peacefully while following the rules, but he even said in an interview that if this is what it takes (rocking the boat/being arrested again), he would do it.
This is different from Dr. King being arrested many moons ago because he fought for social and human justice and equality. I can’t say that this ‘mascot’ violates anyone’s freedoms. I feel sorry for his child.

Get a grib people. I am a christian born and raised in Houston County. I did not attend WRHS but i support our mascot. The mascot is only a tradition. It has nothing in the world to due with religion. It has been a tradition for the last 60 years. If your preacher was so straight forward and god fearing, please explain to me how he has been arrested all together 4 times. He seems to have a problem with following the rules and obeying the laws. I sure would not want him as a preacher at my church. And yes I attend a church locally in Warner Robins and have been a member since i was 11. Get over it Mr Crosby. If you don’t like the way we do things MOVE

Lloyd & riverangel… Your take is noted… It just amazes me that someone who has already got an arrest record from the last year, is now in the news with another arrest again for something different. He has lived in middle GA for 1 year, he pastors in another county, yet he lives in Warner Robins… This city is STEEPED in tradition and it has been one of class and integrity. I find it unsettling that an “outsider” can come in and rock the boat sotospeak, when he needs to be cleaning off his own porch and ministering to his congregation in Macon… He can always move to Macon where his church is, or relocate to a different part of town… Several years back our marching band which was HUGE in its hayday was known as the “Dixie Demon Marching Band”… and it was a very large band that was known everywhere as an amazing marching band… and football games were kicked off with a rousing and lively version of “Dixie”… and then we had another “well meaning and offended” person come and protest that the song was demeaning and was too offensive to his people which were slaves…. He was successful, and our band took a hit at the loss of their identity… I say, enough already.. this is not a Christian thing, this is not a slave thing, this is not a memory thing, this is not a demon thing…I believe that for at least 3 generations, there were no slaves here… These people were born here in the USA, american citizens… stop riding on the coattails of a long ago history… Shouldn’t Mr. Crosby’s focus be on the poor, homeless, down and out, non-Christian people within his church’s community?! For as many hours as he has logged in getting national publicity…. how much more work could he be doing for the church and the Lord if he invested that time in his ministry….we need to look at the entire picture!!!! While you are at it, go after the Duke University Blue Devils, the Hawkinsville High School Red Devils, and the list goes on….You really need to have due diligence when promoting Mr. Crosby’s agenda here in our fair city.

As a 1973 graduate of WRHS Demons…. this man needs to concentrate on his congregation and community in Macon, GA….. He can move…. There is not one thing demonic about our mascot… We have graduated MANY, MANY, MANY Godly people from our school and demonism and satanism has/had nothing to do with it!!!! You are so misguided and lame in your attacks….We were named after a fighter squadron from WW II…. to honor the Screamin’ Demons…….Get a life man…what will you do if your “son” gets a scholarship to Duke, the Blue Devils… turn it down… I hardly think so!!! People open your eyes…. He is just a publicity hound who wants his 15 minutes of fame. Don’t comment on this unless you totally understand the whole story…. He’s not from here, and does not understand our very patriotic and Christian commnunity.

Thank you for coming by and expressing your feelings about what Pastor Crosby is saying and doing. It is our wish here to get all views expressed on anything we post. The background to the name was really useful. However I would think that Pastor Crosby’s position might be they shouldn’t have been called Demons either…Thoughts?
