Thought – Thank You Thursday

Hello Fellowship Family:
Thank You Lord For This Day! If nothing else, each morning when we rise we should say this statement. Of course there is so much more for which we should be saying, “Thank You”. However, how many of us spend our days in a place of gratitude for what God has done, is doing and will do for each of us? Deserving or not.

Therefore I would like for us to leave a comment below listing for what we are Thankful. I promise it will make you feel a little better. We all feel appreciated when someone says, thank you. I know that almost nothing sounds better then when my family says, Thanks mom dinner was good. Especially our Picky Princess. It’s like Alas I gave her something she likes, let alone loves. In turn they feel good for making me feel good. It becomes a reciprocal exchange of positivity. Doesn’t God deserve that as well?

We teach our children that it is polite to say the two words, yet we are continually rude to our Provider, the Greatest Giver we will ever know. So today even if it is a simple “Thank You”. Add to the list below. Then think about it through out the rest of the day. I truly believe that if we get in a spirit of gratitude for the things we do have we will certainly find less time to complain about the things we don’t.

Hebrews 13:15
15Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

    Thank You Father for bringing my family and I through all that we have experienced in the last few years. Thank You for restoring all that was stolen, mistakenly given away, etc. Thank You for using this experience to draw us closer to you…deepening our relationship with You. Thank You in advance for the blessings that You have for us in the future. Guide us according to Your Will and Way, so that we may give You all of the glory, honor and praise Father. This we pray and give thanks, in the Name of Jesus.

    Figure I should start!
    God Thank you for people who accept me as I am, they offer me a place to relax. For those who dislike me, they present a glimpse of me I might not see in the mirror. For those who have high expectations of me they keep me honest and push me to be more than comfortable. Thanks for my humbleness, loving heart, desire to see the best in people, ability to remain mostly positive, yearning to help heal broken hearts and spirits. Thank You for your hand in my life. Also Thank you for keeping the heat down long enough for me to take a walk! 🙂
